Towards successfully meeting the strategic objectives set, innovation-related stimulation activities and dissemination plans will adequately ensure optimal use of the project results.
Stimulation enhancing activities include all activities related to the propagation and use of the results of the project. The objective of this specific activity addressed to develop and perform SPAS stimulation is to provide an analytical and comprehensive approach and concrete basis for the strategies of visibility, dissemination, implementation and exploitation of SPAS outcomes.
A Technology Promotion and Dissemination Plan will be prepared to introduce the communication strategy during the lifetime of the project. It will examine, in particular, how to best support the dissemination efforts of the Consortium partners in their countries, to reach a widest audience of local governments on a pan-European scale and to prepare better conditions for a deployment of the project results.
This Work-package also aims at creating a "critical mass" of interest necessary for the deployment, on the target scale, of the results of the project.
In brief, the main objectives of this WP are:
This WP includes all those services that will be offered to SMEs in order to encourage them to participate in European projects. These services will be additional to the services offered though the website, and will be focused on the proposals preparation and submission.
This WP include action to specific technology transfer to groups of SMEs.
Within this WP, information regarding European projects (on-going and new projects) will be compiled. In addition to this, contacts with the European Commission will be established so that SPAS partners will constitute an interface entity between small and medium enterprises and EC.
Actions will consider the evolution that took place in the approach of the FP7.
The aim of the project is to encourage and assist SMEs in the participation in the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programme. Within this WP, SMEs will be contacted, selected and informed about the aim of the proposed project and about the possibilities that the Programmes offer them in research in cooperation.
Identification of best practices for involving SMEs in international research activities. Actions for the scope and development of the project will be homogenized among SPAS partners.
Also the WP intends to define and implement clusters formed by entities that have similar innovation needs. Clusters will allow SMEs to get in touch with other SMEs having common interests, thus easing the technology transference and the creation of new ideas and research projects in cooperation. Also, through scopes and continued contacts with SMEs will allow generating new ideas and identification of common interest areas.
