EraSME - cooperation between SME and research institutes
The 3rd call for trans-national projects of the EraSME partnership has opened on December 15, 2006. Projects will have to demonstrate increased collaboration between SMEs and RTOs, enhancing the competitive capacity of SMEs. Funding possibilities are offered to smaller trans-national co-operation projects (at least two SMEs and one RTO) as well as larger consortia (at least four SMEs and two RTOs). This call is open to collaboration proposals in all fields of technology – participating programmes may focus on specific areas of technology.
Invited are project proposals from the following countries/regions: Austria, Denmark, Belgium/Flanders, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy/Tuscany, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
Closing date of the call is February 15, 2007.

Call for Expressions of Interest for the Demonstration Phase Objectives of the Call for Expressions of Interest:
GoodFood is a 4-year integrated project co-funded by the EC with the strategic objective of contributing to the new generation of analytical methods based on Micro and Nano Technology solutions for the safety and quality assurance of the complete food chain. Compared to currently available solutions, the main advantages being pursued within GoodFood with the use of Micro Systems are the developments of portable devices of low cost, low power, simple use and fast detection response.

Open Call for Collaborating Centres in GA2LEN
The Global Allergy and Asthma European Network (GA2LEN) is a network of 26 partners from 16 European countries launched in 2004. The aim of GA2LEN is to establish a truly pan-European Network of Excellence integrating all interested parties in allergy and asthma.
GA2LEN is inviting all European institutions, organisations, enterprises, companies,societies, working groups, etc.. with a long term interest in the field of allergy and asthma to become a part of the GA2LEN network as collaborating centres.These collaborating centres will be recognised with the understanding that they will have access to the programmes of the NoE and that the Network of Excellence (NoE) will be able to sub-contract work to these centres where appropriate.
